Hackenthorpe Community Centre is in the heart of the local community and was, years ago, our local library. Since it was converted to a community centre it has gone from strength to strength and is now used regularly by the community. Dunamis International Gospel Centre holds her Services there.
A little history on how we got started
The establishment of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Sheffield can be explained by Acts 10:47 “Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?”
God himself impregnated a few brethren with a ceaseless passion to pursue after the fire in Dunamis. Distance not withstanding, they repeatedly made their appearances at Sunday services, monthly vigils and other programs in Dunamis Manchester.
They also went ahead to set up a functional home church.
Due to their soaring number, a time came that Dunamis Manchester has to begin deploying a bus to convey them for the monthly vigil.
Their unquenchable hunger led them to get a venue where the church finally started on the 23rd July, 2022.
Since inception, the church’s assignment has been to manifest the reality of the Almighty to the land and nation; restoring human destinies and dignities; and saturating the earth with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the seas.
